Louisville Web Group is proud to launch the new ecommerce site for Prosco Chemical Innovations. Prosco is located in Indianapolis, IN and has been around since 1969. They produce a variety of chemicals for many different applications, from industrial cleaners, to water treatments, to environmentally safe refrigerants.
Prosco primarily targets businesses that can use or resell their line of products. This includes hardware stores, janitorial supply companies, HVAC service companies, car washes, foundries, and many others. Their product is might be running through the air conditioning unit in your home or office.
But Prosco wants reach a wider market and bring in new customers, and to make it easier for customers to order what they need with minimal effort. The new website is a key part of this initiative.
The website is powered by Drupal Commerce and has a several customizations and features:
- Wholesale accounts with discounts for people logged in. This is done with two price tables per product, to take advantage of quantity discounts that can be edited easily.
- Shipping is calculated by total order weight, with free shipping offered at a certain threshold.
- Sage Pro ERP integration. The client does not have to manually enter orders into their accounting and inventory system. Once an order is solidified and payment has been verified, the manager simply clicks "Finalize Order in Sage ERP", and the information is transferred over for fulfillment and accounting.
- As with all Drupal sites, it is easy for the client to manage and change nearly anything they need, from adding and changing product information to marking certain users as wholesale accounts.
